Alongside the previously announced members of the International Technical Jury, which is composed of world-renowned people from the Circus world, there is a second Jury, the Critics Jury, who will be awarding their own special prize. But this year we also have a third, the Audience Jury.
National and local journalists from near and far have already been invited to Latina for the 27th edition of the International Circus Festival of Italy, and they will be working alongside journalists and photographers for specialist publications dedicated to the circus in the prestigious Critics Jury. Their job will be to judge each competing act in the event, and deciding which act, in their opinion, and not necessarily for its technical aspects, has the greatest impact on the public, whether for originality or innovation The Critics Jury will be present and operating during the 15.30 and 19.00 shows on Sunday, October 18th. Their award will be presented on Monday, October 19th during the final evening of the Festival, which starts at 20.30.
For the 27th edition of the International Circus Festival of Italy our Gold Partner Cirque Tickets will be organising our third jury: the Audience Jury. Spectators will be able to vote for their favourite act directly from their smartphones by using a QR code, which will be made public only during each show. Cirque Tickets will be awarding a special cash prize of €1,000 to the act that gets the most votes from the audience. We hope this new initiative will provide a quick and fun way to involve our audiences with new tendencies.
